Hello, hello: this zine is finally finished – Homos in Herstory: 1970′s Edition!
I worked on it for quite some time, absorbing all my art-time, and eventually becoming a fat little 51-page opus. I love researching history, and this decade in particular has so much queer culture to sort through: all the gay heroes of the 2nd wave women’s movement (Adirenne Rich, Audre Lorde, etc), and many folks who were simply prancing about and singing a song of lesbos (Alix Dobkin, Lavender Jane Loves Women).
I was at Kinkos last night until 10:30pm, printing copies…and now, this edition to the Homos in Herstory history comic series is complete.

Hullo again; I’ve been away from this site for a while, because I am furiously working away at the next issue of Homos in Herstory, 1970′s Edition!
I am excited to display this at the benefit for the Queer Zine Archive Project, hosted by queer librarians group Que(e)rty – [http://www.qzap.org/v6/index.php], which is this Saturday night! Come hang out and support your local zinester
Also, many thanks to those who read this site!
I am happy to report that the site just hit 5,000 views, which is mind-boggling to me.
Last but not least, there is a Brooklyn Zinefest a-brewing for 2012 – you can find out more here: http://www.brooklynzinefest.com/
